For the first time in my years of doing reviews I had an album review "rejected for inappropriate content" & taken down with no explanation as to why. I've done about 1000 of these so I have no clue what the issue is here. I've already appealed, but help? @TeamYouTube
Between this and the spam comments I was getting it really seems that someone (or a group of people) are screwing with my channel.

I’m still confused by all of this. Other than some swear words there’s nothing inappropriate in the review that got taken down - plus the artist saw it and was cool with it. It wasn’t even nasty and/or a rant.

You have sexual stuff, hyper violence/gore and racist content all over the dark corners of YouTube, but a 6 or 7 minute album review with some swear words gets rejected for inappropriate content? And they can’t even point out directly what it is?

I would even understand if they suggested it be “mature content” over some swear words or whatever, but even that would be far-fetched. I dunno. Maybe there’s a brand new rule that I missed or something?

I didn’t get a strike or anything like that, but it would’ve been nice to be given a more clear understanding about what the issue is.

@SpectrumPulse any idea or opinion on all of this? I know you’ve had to deal with YouTube issues over the years.Show this thread

(1/2) Thanks for the tag – when something is flagged or reported on YouTube, it’s not automatically taken down. A flag just means we'll *review* the content, but it will only be removed if it violates our Community Guidelines: https://yt.be/help/qkY8

Thank you for responding, but as one of my earlier tweets says, the video was "removed for inappropriate content" but there's not even anything nasty or bad in it. I also received 11 e-mails from YouTube stating the same thing so I think there's some sort of mistake here.
