We didn't forget -- it's just not worth talking about yet. As you noticed, it's pretty lacking in functionality and I'm sure there's lots of bikeshedding to be done before we're happy with it.

This is part of a broader move towards improving Sia's testing code, specifically integration tests. That's why we created the node package, split the API server and client into separate packages, etc.
