Even if you're massively famous, your Wikipedia entry will gloss over entire *years* of your life, or skip them entirely. What was Darwin doing between the ages of 31 and 33? Nothing noteworthy, apparently.

Also, history doesn't care about your chronic illness. For his entire adult life, Darwin was "repeatedly incapacitated with episodes of stomach pains, vomiting, severe boils, palpitations, trembling and other symptoms." He must have suffered greatly, but to us, it's a footnote.
