Writable FUSE is coming along nicely. Writes across all open files are cached in memory and only flushed when they fill up a sector, which means we get efficient small files "for free" — no more padding JPEGs to 4MB. This actually introduced a funny bug: the CLI progress bar can't tell the difference between writing to cache and writing to hosts, so for small files it will report the upload speed as >1 GB/s.
