We need a science branch of government that decides what the facts are. They have veto power over any other branch's actions, if those actions were based on false information. It would be in any politician's best interest to cooperate with the science branch to get anything done.

Generally it's not the facts that matter, but the interpretation. And the areas where govt is most important, like economics and foreign policy, are guided by heuristics, not by the scientific method. Plus you have the dystopian problem of the govt deciding what's true. No thanks
