First, flags that I like. This one is Kazakhstan. It has a sweet eagle on it. The stripe on the left reminds me of Belarus' flag, except their stripe looks like bad pixel art.pic.twitter.com/9srPOYBBXE

Sri Lanka: Very unique, very distinctive. You won't get this flag mixed up with a similar one (looking at you, Monaco/Indonesia and Chad/Romania). Plus it has a lion holding a sword. How? Doesn't matter.pic.twitter.com/JaN6HwFgKO

Estonia: Among the horizontal tricolor flags, Estonia's is clearly the best. Those colors are just great. It was adopted in 1918, but was banned by the Soviet Union from 1944-1990, when it was readopted. (Look up the Soviet version, it sucked.)pic.twitter.com/QOAaDCD8tI

South Korea: It's like the flag of Japan, but with more symbolism, notably the trigrams, which represent the four elements. And the taijitu is more interesting than a simple circle (you can also spot one on Mongolia's flag).pic.twitter.com/xUIB0rtssz

Seychelles: How can you not love this one? The rays symbolize "a dynamic new country moving into the future." Way better than their flag under colonial rule.pic.twitter.com/NXu4FCfbwC

Brunei: This is my personal favorite. I love the angled stripes, the bright yellow, and the especially the hands, which symbolize benevolence, and the inscriptions read "Always render service with God's guidance" and "Brunei, the Abode of Peace."pic.twitter.com/j1yGoHsW6s

Okay, time for my least favorite flags. Apologies in advance if you live in one of these countries! First up, Bosnia and Herzegovina. The colors are fine, but it just looks like the design got cut off, like they misaligned it in the copier machine or something.pic.twitter.com/ZQSIGHfocg

Maldives: Really hate the nested boxes. It looks like badly-framed abstract art. And come on, at least do something interesting with the crescent, like Brunei or Iran!pic.twitter.com/xBD8Lqq9bz
