To all Pennsylvania politicians: I love that

is headquartered in Pittsburgh and that y'all use it as an example that successful tech companies can start here. If PA makes abortion illegal, we won't be able to attract talent and we'll have to grow our offices elsewhere.

When you say "talent" are you saying that all talent only shares your political views? Or that you only hire talent that shares your political views? Is it possible you'll only be able to hire half as many talented people because only half of talented folks share your views?

The talent we need the most is in technology, which heavily skews towards those who care about women’s reproductive rights. So yes, this will make it harder for us to do well in PA.

Texas’s laws have done more to cap Austin’s growth than anything else. I love Austin, but it’s so hard to convince talent to move there; Miami, Chicago, and Seattle have far outpaced it in recent years.
