    The fact it’s so important to her that someone 100+ years ago in her lineage was *possibly* Native American so she can use it for social/political purposes today strikes me as actual cultural appropriation. Thoughts?

    Robert E Lee WAS a great general, you historically illiterate freakazoids. I learned this in SIXTH GRADE. Everyone who studies the Civil War knows that the best US generals left for the South at the start of the war. It was an ugly and bloody process to defeat them.
