"Why doesn't she just fix her teeth?" After 25 years, that question still bums me out. Shout out to anyone who's been bullied for something they can't change/were born with. Big or small, your differences are beautiful. There is no 'right way' to be. Being yourself is perfect.

I had braces for five years as a kid and all the dental work you can think of. My teeth relapsed and are still crooked. Granted not as bad. But I totally agree with you. It’s character! You shouldn’t be mocked...you’re beautiful.

Random internet people: "why doesn't she fix her teeth?!" Me: wore Invisalign for 2 years (for my tmj not for those lame comments) Random internet people: "Why'd you change? I miss the old you!" Can not win. Gotta do what's best for you.

Mine has always been my glasses. I've had them for years & people are always like "Have you ever considered lasik or contacts?" Yes irrelevant person, I have. But unfortunately not all eye issues can be fixed with either of those options, so learn to love the 4 eyes.
