@TeamYouTube many videos on the site don't show a publish date, is this intended?

The publish date show always show up below a video. If you're not seeing them, mind sharing a screenshot and a video URL? Keep us posted!

To confirm, is this happening across your devices? Try logging out and logging back in on the app, and make sure you have the updated version of it. You can check once more, then let us know how it goes!

it's across all of my devices even with latest version; while you're looking into this, would you consider removing the abbreviated sub count feature? seeing each individual subscriber inching towards a major goal is a huge hype moment that brings traffic and money to the site

We’re abbreviating public sub counts both to maintain consistency across all public surfaces on YouTube, and to address creator concerns about stress/wellbeing, specifically around tracking public sub counts in real time. More on this: http://yt.be/help/abbrev-count …

1. if certain creators are concerned about this, then I don't see why they couldn't just turn off their public subscriber count 2. other than fixing one tiny inconsistency, there are no upsides to this, but there are plenty of downsides
