I am seeing a young boy trying to describe a traumatic experience without being overpowered by emotions and therefore restarting sentences. That’s why the speech of Emma Gonzalez was so incredibly powerful- she didn’t mind angrily wiping off her tears while she was speaking.

The guy was rehearsing he was not emotional he was not feeling the emotion of what happened, he was rehearsing bottom feed that!

I "rehearsed" what I was going to say at my dad's funeral (wrote it down & practised saying it aloud multiple times), because I thought I'd be too emotional to say what I wanted to say. Does that make me an actor too? No- it made me prepared & able to speak my mind calmly.

Really? Well, that is just a bit different from being involved in a mass shooting, I'd say, one, and two, that kind of interview is all about raw emotions and the moment. A funeral and a mass shooting are not even close to apples and apples or even apples and oranges.

Maybe you’re right. But I haven’t seen my classmates slain arbitrarily in front of me, so I’m not sure I’m a good judge of when he should or shouldn’t be talking to anyone about it.
