Thousands of accounts asked the embassies of the USA and Russia to invade Germany.

In this case it's ridiculous, but such a campaign could be used as pretext for an invasion. The US embassy isn't happy about how their Tweet about George Floyd was abused for this.

So the real # of ppl behind the muppets might be 100; each of them created 34 new acc in 2days? While they each already led more than 70 muppets before the campaign, adding up to a total of 10.4k. Each muppeteer tweeted 200x.

Twitter can be scripted, but in most cases there isn't enough data to tell by how many people the accounts are operated. Often impossible to say who operates the accounts. I believe, that manually inspecting a sample of accounts gives the best insights.
