To celebrate the launch of the Final Fantasy XVI demo I decided to play the amazing "Find the Flame", taken from the #FF16 Original Soundtrack. 😍
The hype is high. 🔥
's funky version of Ludwig, the Holy Blade (Bloodborne).
I had a random idea about a violin part and contacted him to understand if he would approve of me playing on his track.
He accepted and... this is the result🥲🖤
As the game Shadows over Loathing is out, I'd love to share with you the "making of" from the violinist side.
After following each other for ages, Ryan, the composer, asked me if I was interestered to record some dark and challenging violin parts.
My response: "You have my bow"
Video game music is amazing, and powerful metal too.
I think anyone who loves metal, guitarists in particular, knows perfectly the title of this song.
A little practice video to remember my self-care rituals and to give you some energic vibes... 🖤
This is what happens when I compose music for video games: the first cringe idea vs. the final product.🎹
How many composers record random ideas on their phones like me? 👀
Composers, what did you learn about making music in the last year?
I start:
Incorporating recordings of nature or city noise, can add an extra layer of realism.
Using unconventional time signatures can add an interesting rhythmic element.
Automations are my friends. (1/2)
Video game music is amazing, Dream Theater too.
This is what happened when lockdown hit the 15th day.
A little throwback video to remember my self-care rituals and to give you some energic vibes... ❤️
I'm glad to share with you that I am officially a Women In Games Ambassador! 😍
It means a lot for me to be a part of this organisation, help other women to join the gaming industry, and even more Italian women.
6 years ago vs now.
What changed?
Same dress, less hair, more muscles, a big tattoo, I work in games, I moved to UK (almostlived here for 4 years now 😍), I deleted all the toxic people I had around.
I wonder where 6 more years will bring me. 🖤

In the last year I noticed how many composers struggle with social media.
I really want to do something about it, as I am an avid Marketing Books reader, and in the last 7 years I took so many courses, and did so much research. So... (1/2)
Atelier Ryza 3 is almost here, and I am so excited about it, I had to create a strings arrangement for one of my favorite waifus. 🥹

For the Throwback Thursday, here is an old violin recording of one of my favorite game battle themes. ⚔️
If you don't recognize it you're missing a huge part of video game's history. 😜
I never really learned how to properly pronunciate Korobeiniki, but at least I know how to play it since 2003.
I started learning violin in 2000 and always wanted to play video game tunes, oops.
20 years of Tetris on the violin celebrated with this old arrangement (2020).
What I learned today in New York:
- New Yorkers are angry.
- Museums have GIGANTIC things.
- Central Park is bigger than Monaco.
- NYC cheesecake is the best in the world.
❤️
2023 program, specializing in music performance, marketing, and social media.
It's my first year as a mentor, and I'm already working with two talented mentees. Can't wait to see what the future holds🎮
We met on Tinder during lockdown, and decided to have a distanced stroll in Alexandra Park.
He conquered me with his viking beauty, his jokes, his strong accent, and the creative talk.
Our first date lasted 5 days and we still have creative ideas to share after 2.5 years. ❤️
Tomorrow is my 30th birthday and I wish I could invite all of you, marvelous Twitter creatures.
The only thing I can do is celebrate by opening a Bandcamp profile, the perfect go-to in case anyone would like to do a present by supporting my music.🖤http://bit.ly/luciasbandcamp
I will open a new Twitter account to help my fellow composers and musicians of the gaming industry. It will be about how to use Social Media to promote your music and to get more clients with practical tips.
I really hope this will make a difference, even if little. 🙏 (2/2)
Today I worked on a interesting recording for a composer from México!
This is a 9 second loop of a flower's biodata extracted and sonified, recorded on violin. 🌺
Basically, I played a melody generated by a plant. 😍🌸
Metal Composers, comment with your favorite distortion plug-in for electric guitar.
I am creating something CRUNCHY and I'd love to experiment with new shiny pedals. 👀
It's that time of year again when I find myself feeling bulky and self-conscious due to the gym progress. 👹
But then it dawns on me - I aspire to become a muscle b*tch, so this is merely a stepping stone in my self growth journey. 🤗
8 months of gym today.
Praise the sun. 🌞
This year I've been composing more than ever, worked on so many projects with my violin recordings, and performed more than 50 gigs while fighting the post-covid condition.
I am so grateful.
Thanks for all the support, Twitter friends. You lightened my year. ❤️
Road to #GDLX23🎊
I will be the person with the coolest tshirt ever.
Don't miss out our talk at 12 pm!
If you recognize me, come say hi, I'll be happy to chat 🖤
How many musicians/bands/composers interested in being a part of a Charity Concert for women's and non-binary's rights and gender equality?
I am thinking about some locations in London... 🌈
Please comment or DM to let me know. Any retweet would be really appreciated ❤️
For 8 months now I have been paying all my expenses entirely with freelance music work, accepting jobs from people I respect, playing only the music I love.
Every now and then I think back to all those people who told me that I had to put my feet on the ground.
From heroines to hero interviews - sharing my experience on TV! I'm back in London after such a mind-blowing experience: being interviewed by one of my heroines on TV. 🙈
I had the chance to talk about my work, and how the gaming industry is open to new talents. (1/3)
Hey, #AudibleWomen! 👋
I'm Lucia! I'm a full-time violinist, composer, and marketer, who's in love with cute JRPGs and Soulslike 👀
My cute/dark duality is well represented by my music and my beloved haircut.

Playing my favorite music in front of 5000+ people on the main stage of the biggest Italian Convention as a solo Performer.
The feeling that will never leave my heart. ❤️
Recharging from GDLX and WASD today. 🖤
Sometimes I hate being introverted and having to deal with down moments after being socially active.
I need to accept the way I am built, with these high highs and low lows. Because the highs look magnificent.
I recorded some violin parts for a cool video game (NDA🥺).
While recording, I was in a Zoom call with the Italian composer, and FINALLY, I could talk about work in my main language...
I felt smart again. 😂🖤
Back to the UK, I have some violin recordings already booked. This fills my heart with warmth and determination. 😌
Today I recorded beautiful, secret parts for
@RyanIkeComposer
.
Here a #gameaudio sneek peek 😈
It scares me how easily I fall into the trap of comparing myself to other people on social media.
It's okay to admire and be inspired by others, but never forget our own worth. 🌹
FINALLY! After many weekends travelling for concerts and events, relax.
Playing Baldur's Gate 3... on violin and on PC. 👀🎻🎶
I am tempted to do another video with all the bard sounds. 😋
I'm excited to announce... I'll speak at #GDLX23! 😍
Join us at the "Let The People Know - Marketing Yourself, Your Studio, and Your Game" panel @ 12PM where I'll share tips on finding online opportunities in the gaming industry.
Hope to see you there 🎻🎶
This weekend I've been playing my heart out on stage, and I couldn't be more thankful for the cheers, the smiles, and the high fives (virtual ones count too)!
Remember, whether you're crafting melodies or video games, our passion really can light up the universe. ♥️
Recording session for... Myself! 👀
I'm composing some tasty tunes for my neverending personal project. 🐉
I will share something soon, it's been a while... 😅💖
Back to the studio after holidays 🎄
Tasks of the day:
- Recording two violin tracks;
- Composing for my personal project;
- Reviewing the last year;
- Going crazy searching for a strategy to get more clients/income (without the "do you need a composer/musician" spam 😂)
Story of my life:
As a musician, I want to focus on practice.
As a freelancer, I want to focus on finding more clients.
As a composer, I want to focus on composing.
As an independent woman, I want to focus on making this world a better place for other women.
I can't focus.
Summer is filling up with concerts, I am so grateful. ❤️
London / May 5 / Camden Club
Ingatestone / May 28 / The Bell
London / May 31 / Piano Smithfield
Taranto / June 4 / Coming Soon
Basildon / June 18 / Coming Soon
Pescara / July 13 / Coming Soon
And more to come 😍
I'm trying to find inner peace during this Holiday with my family.
Worries about the future and bills often permeate my thoughts.
This year I may not have had the best salary of life, however, music made me a better human being.
This is the right path.
I know so many wonderful men in the industry, and it's SO disappointing that the same old disgusting ones have to share their gender and ruin the improvements of the last years.
However... they forgot how much women talk to each other. And we remember every detail.
Women at GDC this year have been belittled and undermined in their roles, been hit on relentlessly, and had their drinks spiked by predatory men.
Two women were even lured up to a hotel room by a man in a position of power for a “pitch”, where he then assaulted them.
While I'm on my third sickness in the last month (ARGH!), I'm holding onto memories of happier times like the Final Fantasy concert at Firenze Fantasy (2019).
Sending love and healing vibes to all the warriors battling illness out there! 🥺#ThrowbackThursday
Devastated to miss out on #GDC this year. Fortunately my friends in London always find ways to organize cool events for us nerds in UK. 🤓
I'll be at #GDLX, ready to embarrass myself and to obsess people with coffee breaks!☕🎮
15 years ago, I was struggling to find my place in the world, as my family and I moved from city to city.
If I had known then where I would be today, how many people I would have met, how much I now feel like I belong to this world, it would make me cry tears of happiness. ❤️
Hey Twitter friends, how are you doing?
I've been playing around Italy last week, I am finally back home in London 🇬🇧❤️
Here's a snippet of what happened. 🎻
My skin is not used anymore to sun apparently... 🦐
Yesterday I had one of the most inspiring nights! 😍
I attended a video game music Masterclass with Inon Zur at BAFTA. ✨
He discussed his craft (including Prince of Persia, Fallout 3 and 4, Dragonage Origins, Starfield) and opened us to a world of new ideas. 🤩
