Since MAGICIANS ended (last paycheck was November 2019), I’ve only had 2 *interviews* for full-time staffing. I have representation, references, strong samples, and showrunners who wanted to hire me… but the studios are shrinking/killing rooms, and the jobs just aren’t there.

I’m trying to think about why this strike feels different from the 2007 strike. There’s many reasons. I think one of the biggest is that there’s an entire generation of writers that got staffed once, and haven’t been able to find a staff job since. They’re stuck. #WGAstrong

The phrase “Asian American” literally comes from Asian students who wanted to organize in solidarity with fellow Black/Brown for civil rights and ethnic studies. Black-Asian solidarity is at the very core of our politics, identity and history.

was there. He got NBC to give us a second week of pay, and he will be paying us himself for a third week. We also are going to have healthcare extended through Sept. ✊ Solidarity!

I have no idea what #TedLasso is doing with Ted's love life. On one hand, his ex wife is his perfect cheesy match that are adorable, but on the other hand, keeping them apart shows you no matter how perfect you seem for each other, it's okay to not be together.
