    Our answer to them must be that we are leaving immediately. This is the longest war in U.S. history. Bring home the troops now. More years in Afghanistan will not fix the problems.

    Three U.S. presidents and 19 years later, it is President-elect Joe Biden’s turn to inherit the American war in Afghanistan. The question leaving Afghans hanging is just how quickly he will remove troops.
