Are we taking into account the fact that any of the other Thanoses can get snapped out by one of the previous one?

Since half the remaining Thanoses disappear with each snap, the remaining fraction of people be 1/2^log2(63)=1/63
-
Not quite. Thanoses may or may not be killed with the snap. For example if there were 5 people and 2 Thanoses after one snap with probability 0.5 there are 2 people and no Thanoses and with probability 0.5 there are 2 people and one Thanos. So the expected number is 1.5.

It's easy enough to compute the exact answer recursively, but it's a 606 digit number divided by a 607 digit number, won't fit in 280 characters. Approximately 0.022198970828583653374. The 64th term of A305562, divided by 2^{2016}. https://oeis.org/A305562

I'm not an expert in generatingfunctionology, if there is a simpler closed form it's not jumping out at me (or at the person who submitted A305562).

I think the answer to this rests critically on whether the 63 Thanoses think more like WOPR or The Highlander.
