Only a small amount of people are getting the full 'benefit' of the tax cut now and, by Roskam's design, that small amount will get practically all of the benefits later. So, sorry if Sean is misquoting now but he, unlike Pete, actual has the economic long view in mind.
It wasn't 'debunked', it was explained. Right now the top 1% get 20.5% of the tax cuts (which is still a fifth of the tax break is going to 250k people nationwide not just in the 6th district). By 2027, when the tax breaks expire for everyone but the 1%, they will get 82.8%.
