polls incoming: would you be interested in a “fan art Friday” (so to speak) for retweeting people’s original low poly models that are not in games? thinking 1-5 per week, depending on how many are submitted.

ig part of it, is that they chose to be low poly vs was forced to be low poly by the graphics that the game itself could handle, too
-
absolutely. seeing how people maneuvered around hardware limitations is what initially sparked my interest in lowpoly to begin with.

Minecraft animals are cool but I feel like we already know them and there is no nostalgia in them, I think this would not be very interesting

Yeah I feel that Voted yes cus we'd only have to see them once and would make the documentation im this account more complete. but maybe it can be done near the end or something.

Don't post them here. Minecraft mobs are low poly by design choice, I think most of us expect 1990s graphics.
-
it's like a specific style for me, not just the date (like i enjoy modern low poly models too, so long as they have that limited and super-simple design)

you shouldn't post them here, they were made to be low poly, that's just the style of the game so it's not really interesting
