Are UK setting up its own agencies ? How much will it cost? Or are we going to just mirror EU standards ? The are some 70 EU agencies UK has been part of and controlling Everything from drugs, safety, crime etc A huge issue yet not a word from the media or opposition!

The HSE have been tasked with registration of chemicals (they have zero experience in that sector). More importantly, by quantity bulk chemicals are the UK's largest export and 80% goes to the EU. Every chemical exported needs to be recertified; a lengthy and expensive task.

Missed that y'day. So day one - Gibraltar; no extradition Germany, Slovenia, & Austria; no UK nationals in the Europeans Chemicals Agency. Wonder what day 2 will bring? 40 Trade Deals, 350 million for the NHS and 40 new hospitals?

Pity I'd hoped like Norway UK would still be part of it in some way post Brexit

I'm guessing it's because we are leaving all the institutions, unlike Norway which is in the EEA and subject to some of them.
