    Ok friends. We took a day off for inauguration but now it's back to work. Today we're working on closing the camps. I've done the hard part. Text SIGN PLTDJP to Resistbot at 50409 to send this to your congresscritters.

    Congress must act to close the concentration camps run by ICE. They have been the sites of egregious human rights violations and suffering ranging from forced sterilizing to sexual assault to denied medical treatment and death. There is no reforming them and they are unnecessary. They must be closed immediately and the people who have suffered there given a path to citizenship and their families reunited.

    The reports from last summer make more sense now if those gas grenades contained zinc fumes. If you're overexposed to zinc fumes you get a condition known as "metal fume fever" that has harsh flu-like symptoms for several days. With repeat and severe exposure though... damn.
