New school. New challenges. Getting weak and reluctant writers to write instead of putting their head on the table is bloody hard! A few of the things I’ve tried so far. Give them the answers without giving them the answers ....

“Jekyll,” said Utterson, “you know me: I am a man to be trusted." This is a key quote if you are analysing U. Why is trust so emphatically a part of U's plea-bargaining with J? Is it that Victorian social mores ultimately resulted in a profound lack of trust between people?

Mental health is a buzz topic atm. I am currently struggling with mine. I feel overwhelmed by small tasks like making hot drinks and washing my hair. My strategies are not working right now but I will find others and I will talk about them with my students
