We need to talk about death. We don't have a proper vocabulary to talk about loss - a universal experience, after all! - so I thought I'd write about it. theguardian.com/commentisfree/

THIS! If each of the biggest UK funders did this for just one org on this list, in itself it would be an innovation in shared investment and resourcing approaches.

Invest £50million each into following orgs for 7 - 10 years, approx half for them to use as they need, + half to gift on, 1 focus around thoughtful urgent transition, based on their existing work. Do / distribute by design this over + over for next 3 - 5 years, grow the list. 👇🏾

Great podcast ft & . On death and dying as a systems problem, a social process and a unifying experience. On the need to reframe and shift tightly held narratives and assumptions.

NEW 🎧: To many, death has no value and is relegated to the margins. How could we die better in the UK? How do we bring death back into life? @JenniferTHF is joined by @Richard56 & @libby_sallnow, authors on @TheLancet commission on the value of death. health.org.uk/news-and-comme
