My twins are 23 today. Not sure how that happened!! Being their mum has been the most challenging, exhausting, chaotic and joyful experience of my life.
statement was a nice surprise. Huge thanks to anyone who borrowed my books and to the libraries who stock them. Writers earn a small amount from every book borrowed, but it does add up. Writers, it's worth signing up for PLR if you haven't already.
In the most felicitous mistake of my research career, I was given file 112 instead of file 12 in the archives, and - wondering why I had to sign a special form requesting to view them - ended up with the letters of JANE AUSTEN on my desk
Jeff Beck, one of the greatest guitarists of all time, has died. He was 78.
He won eight Grammys and ranked fifth on Rolling Stone’s list of the 100 Greatest Guitarists, and influenced everyone - literally everyone - that came after him.
He will be sadly missed.
DELIGHTED to sign 2 novels from @KerryFSwayne, a series duet set in Rome, where elderly owner Veronica rents out an apartment to English women ‘of a certain age’, who have been through difficult times, and need to rediscover joy and direction.
