Great video! I grew up seeing this happen (rarely) in the Southwest. Always be careful in those dry arroyos-the cloudburst can be far upstream!

The pipes you see are under the rd .After it goes through the culverts under the rd its back into normal creek bed . The creek does empty in Elephant Butte reservoir / Rio Grande River
