All that said, youtube needs to have clear rules and not strike one video of one unlucky person while there’s a lot more of the same on the website that remains unstriked ...

First off, you're not even allowed to make an account if you're under 13 years old on youtube. That said, if anything under that age is viewing videos, its the parent's sole responsibility and not yt's. Plus these are anime/cartoons. Real laws/rules don't apply. Its all messed up

The point about not being allowed to have an account if 13 or less & the fact that it’s parents’ responsibilities don’t really work against “the content is also viewed by kids that shouldn’t be watching” ... I mean YT removed salt and ice challenges for being DANGEROUS content...

I don’t think that the salt and ice challenge is dangerous if you have more than 1 brain cell and at the age of 13 or above ... but yeah. The removed vid also had a disclaimer to not try at home if that means anything these days lol

You realize the same content applies to people blowing each other's brains out in video games/anime, but all that content gets away fine. You know why? Because it's a video game/cartoon/anime. It's not real. Kids know what is and isn't real.

Lol, if you actualy believe that. Also overly sexualized games do get striked sometimes. There were issues with some other games rated M as well ... I do get it’s not fair to get a strike for something that’s all over youtube but you should be able to see the other POV lmao

Same goes for a lot of the try not to laugh anime vines etc. there’s a loooot of fucked up and they’re still on youtube, yt’s just slowly becoming more and more strict about shit.... Try to get the strike re-reviewed, they usually end up removing them but I think that a year 2/3

From now you wouldn’t be able to be playing dating sims and visual novels if they have ... big ... artstyle ... Same thing happened to some league youtubers who had low-key censored league hentai for thumbs or showing in vids

If you are a parent that thinks YouTube should be a completely safe place for your child, or rather there shouldn’t be any videos that may not be safe for them, then you should monitor them because others enjoy that content. Content is subjective and nobody should receive strikes

Youtube is making the website kid-friendly, TV-alike and safe to be watched by everyone whether you like it or not

That's actually BS. People are doing crazy dangerous diy projects that involve electrical engeneering, brain manipulating, propaganda, and that have beer in the shots. In most countries that I have studied, especially the US and Canada, that kinda stuff isn't allowed.
