    If you were a Syrian trapped in and heard that the border, unfairly shut for years, had re-opened, what would you do? You'd try to cross. This situation is entirely of the 's own making. Stop paying other countries to do your dirty work, and let people move safely.✌️🏽💙

    Recall that a few months ago, refugees in Arsal were forced by the Army to demolish any "semi-permanent structures" (aka homes with concrete walls) they had built, meaning that they now have even less shelter against the severe weather that happens there every year.
