Another heartbreaking media article about a disabled child unable to enjoy their savings. Another parent who can’t face the cost and effort of going to court. Please , if you care about our children, take bold action now. 🙏🏻

As a parent carer to a child with learning disabilities, the fact that we are repeatedly hearing these stories absolutely horrifies me. The most vulnerable in our society are being repeatedly failed, please read the article 👇

The rot is setting in now. Network Rail have a total of 5 projects across the country to build inaccessible stepped footbridges. So please do object to the Sec. of State by May 2nd tells you how. Your Access = Network Rail’s cost cutting. #DisabledByTheRailway

Please don't just scroll on by. These people are your people, they are human just like you. To ignore this and not collectively say this is enough, means we continue to fail our fellow people and ourselves too.

Please sign this, whether you’re clinically vulnerable or not. Most of us only end up in hospital if we’re pretty sick. The last thing you need in that case in top is a dose of C0vid on top & nosocomial spread is sucking up scarce NHS capacity - delaying treatment for all.

The bollards have been installed on dropped kerbs, blocking wheelchair and mobility scooter access Was an Equality Impact Assessment produced ? Anyone would think want to ban disabled people accessing the city after removing the Blue Badge parking.

Starting to wonder if there’s someone sitting in West Offices congratulating themselves on buying bollards in bulk? Not only do we have the Front St forest that may well cost Cllr Waller his seat, today I see we now feel the need to surround heritage lampposts with them 🙄#May4th

Sadly they aren't the only family, but they are the only ones in a position to speak about the dire situation faced by other Clinically Vulnerable Families.

Children are being denied their human right to education because the government won't make schools safe. 💙 99.6% feel UNSAFE in school BUT 💜 93% would feel SAFE if air filtration was added and mask use supported 💗 Nobody should have to choose between #educationANDlives

On Apr 23rd, the UK government will test emergency alerts, & your phone could make a loud sound, even on silent. If you’re a domestic violence survivor & have a hidden phone, it could reveal its location. Refuge have created a guide for turning alerts off.

This 👇👇👇 from "This is a toilet at the end of the day... This is a basic human right" We really shouldn't have to be fighting for toileting facilities that meet the needs of disabled pupils in schools. #ChangingPlaces

Here is a particularly impactful snippet from our accessible toilets in schools webinar from last week. @Shelley_Simmo (parent carer and a disability rights advocate) talks about parents feeling the need to be grateful to schools for providing accessible toileting facilities.
