      If you have any feedback on what the CHI steering committee can do to explain its budget better do let me know and I’ll pass it along http://prior.sigchi.org/conferences/chi/steering-committee … there are hundreds of volunteers from students to chairs working to make @sig_chi 2018 a success.

      I’m not sure the issue is one of needing a budget explained, but I appreciate the sentiment.

      I'm President of @sigchi, so work closely with @aquigley. Believe me, we are aware of this issue, and there is much discussion of (1) carefully analyzing our budget, so that (2) we can decide what tradeoffs would be required if we significantly reduce registration (etc) costs.
