These instructions are so helpful! One quick clarification: it says "If you are an active SIGCHI member, you will see that listed under “Your Memberships”". Will it explicitly say "Active SIGCHI member" or something else? Mine says "Student Membership" but membership to what?
For my "Memberships", it includes "Professional Membership" (which is ACM) and "SIGCHI Membership", so I guess that you are probably just an ACM student member, not (yet) a SIGCHI member. Are there any students who know they are SIGCHI student members who can check their account?

I advise people to login into: https://myacm.acm.org - screenshots here of what the page under “My Services” might be handy to add to a blog post? I think *many* people assume they are a SIGCHI member when they aren’t simply due to missing this in the signup/renewal process:(
