#CHI2021 is fully virtual. I have an article on hybrid with@midget_mg that I hope sees the light of day soon. Our vCAG for ‘21 spent a long time on hybrid. Even now we are exploring what hybrid means for the future of education here. Key: use of digital to modulate physical exp.

@cfiesler and I are charged with making CSCW 2023 a hybrid event. About as far as I've gotten is that virtual shouldn't try to emulate the in-person experience. Instead think "Beyond Being There" https://doi.org/10.1145/142750.142769 …. BOF discussions, meet the author, mentoring, ... ? -
Yeah my comment would be that the letter is unnecessary because that’s all the steering committees and SIGs have been thinking about for 12M now.
