We just started watching Veronica Mars, and is it just us, or does Kristin-Bell-as-Veronica-Mars look and sound pretty much just like Sarah-Michelle-Gellar-as-Buffy?

Yeah, the Glory arc wasn't one of my favorites. What about Willow, though? And other characters like Tara and Anya made pretty interesting contributions, although perhaps mostly with respect to more central characters (Willow and Xander)?
