This is fantastic news. I assume this applies to both the general GRE and computer science specialized GRE? I only wish this had been the policy in 2006 when I began my M.S. there! 
I encourage prospective CS grad students to consider @UMNComputerSci. And if you're interested in HCI or Social Computing, we in @grouplens are interested in you! Some big news: The University of Minnesota Computer Science program no longer will require or accept GRE scores.
