I was pleased to receive and email from @TheOfficialACM apologising for their poorly written tweet. I was also glad to learn there are volunteers working on a statement around the deployment of facial recognition.

I think there is a toggle in your profile “likely complain” which is on for you. The switch “likely to snark” is on for

I tried for the "likely to give extremely thoughtful and constructive feedback" toggle, but apparently the user research showed there was no need for that.
