Can’t begin to tell you how bummed we are to miss out on Minneapolis hospitality. 
I'm very sad about this decision, because this probably was a once in a career change to have my favorite conference in my home city, but it undoubtedly is the right call. We are disappointed to not be in Minneapolis in October - but hoping that a future UIST/CSCW does take place in this great venue! All the ground work must not be in vain!
