    Let's be clear: the Grassley bill is an attempt to derail relief for Dreamers. It's loaded up with poison pills, presented as if it's a solution for Dreamers (it's not), and the strategy is to give safe harbor for Republicans who want to get to no while pretending to be a yes.

    The DACA bill just announced by Grassley on the floor is a wish list for Republicans and does not provide a path to citizenship for Dreamers, only three more years of protected status. Durbin says "it cannot be considered a good faith effort" to protect Dreamers from deportation.
