    Every morning I give a little talk about why good, smart learning choices make a difference in their lives--that helps to encourage greater investment.

    At this point in the school year, I have trouble with students not wanting to work. I thought it was because I was not putting points or marks in the gradebook. Nope. It happens in MANY classes. I'll be holding on to hope and sharing my WHYs with students.

    Trump also appears to support privately owned prisons which do not result in good reform. is a danger. It is not a Trump makes life for blue collar workers dangerously problematic w/elevated pollution, lack of good supports, public schools destruction. . .

    Criminal justice reform reality: First Step Act good. But Trump AG’s have tried to dismantle reforms put in place during Obama years that were far more significant and led to simultaneous reduction in both the federal prison population and crime rate for first time in 40 years.

    Trump praise for "manifest destiny" was basically a cheer for White Supremacy--white supremacist ideals are a punch in the face to all Americans, good living, and values of decency, equality, and freedom in Trump is dangerous.

    Trump lauded great gains in investments, but truth is that most ordinary Americans don't have big money in investment funds. Trump leads for small number of wealthy white folk (clearly illustrated by his cheerleaders at ). Trump does not lead for most of us.

    Giving the Medal of Freedom to Rush Limbaugh alone constitutes tearing up the document--read Limbaugh quotes--quotes that spread hate, bigotry about many Americans past and present.

    It's hard to care about Republicans' outrage over Nancy Pelosi tearing up Trump's speech when they just spent the last two weeks tearing up the Constitution.

    I read many of his disgusting, bigoted, hateful quotes tonight-- mocks all of us and spreads his bigotry continuously.

    These are Limbaugh’s own words. Tonight celebrated and honored a white nationalist. Trump-Pence must be voted out. They make our country less safe, especially for people of color, LGBTQ+, immigrants, and women.
