Most low income schools, by this benchmark, already do. Almost every St. Louis county school requires clear backpacks. And those STL kids must purchase their own, the school districts don't provide them en masse.

Of course having a clear backpack is really going to stop anyone bring in a semi-automatic weapon into any building... Your legislators really need to attend your classes so they can see how intelligent their policies are.
