I use subtitles all of the time on video games. I’m a very visual leaner, helps me so much to be able to read what the characters are saying.

Sometimes I just can’t catch the dialogue, or dyslexia mixes up the words that I hear. Subtitles help cause 2 senses is better to understand dialogue than one.

Yesss i need subtitles too. Like my English is great but I'm still a bilingual immigrant and sometimes certain american accents are hard to follow yknow?

I always watched tv with subtitles as a kid so that way I could stay up late with the tv quiet to watch The Simpsons. To this day, I know almost every episode by heart. I even got my husband used to them. We actually get annoyed with live tv when we can’t use them.

I watch everything with captions/subtitles. I understand better when I hear and read. But not of it's a full paragraph. I read too fast for that.
