No. Though I must admit that my kids don't seem to be stressed out about the metal detectors and other security measures at their school. This is such a hard problem to investigate, and I'm not quite sure the best way to go about it.

Mass surveillance - whether in the name of security, safety, efficiency or convenience - does far more harm than good. Erosion of the private sphere by the state & its corporate ‘partners’ is not compatible with the notion of a free society.
