    I am trying to move out of New York today, but I have been stuck outside the Lincoln Tunnel for at least an hour. Traffic stopped. Not going anywhere. Cities love you in different ways, I guess.

    Also, please don’t try to vilify the journalists who are trying to reach out to us. They have a job to try to bring context to a terrible situation and they should be allowed to do it, even if some of us aren’t ready to talk.

    From my quick review of the case, the alleged shooter was convicted of misdemeanor harassment, which is not a domestic violence related crime and would not have made it illegal for him to own firearms.
