Just finished the second draft (implementing tech feedback) of 'AI and ML for Coders' -- I'm so happy today! :)
My new book is finished and off to the printers! EBook should be on sale next week, print copies in 2-3 weeks. The full book is already available to OReilly subscribers.

I continue to be amazed at how easy Python makes a lot of programming tasks. Definitely sparks joy!
If there's a language you don't know that you always wanted to learn, give it a try!

Now it looks like it’s happening to me!
Can you do me a favor? If you see this post, can you like, share, or comment?
Bought this book in #Tokyo...the Manga Guide to Machine Learning. It even covers TensorFlow and Keras!
I created a series of videos on YouTube (as well as a course on EdX) called 'AI for Anyone' for non techies to begin to understand the possibilities.
Please share and RT. I'd love for as many people to see this as possible!

My first attempt at an object detection model didn't work very well :)
I bribed them to do it, because I always wanted to be Sandeep! ;)

Lots of debate this morning about framework X versus framework Y in the AI/ML community, spurred by an article that was, in my opinion, flat wrong in its premise.
But I think most people are missing the point.

Something I learned this week: Some toxic people become even more so when you treat them with respect and dignity.
But that shouldn't stop one trying to do the right thing.
I finished the Social Distancing half marathon today. Here’s my goofy finish line crossing!
Dear tech Twitter:
It's really not worth being toxic.
Some go out of their way to offend, and some go out of their way to be offended.
If someone is a jerk, regardless of their gender, race, or creed, just block them, and move on!
Use your energy being kind instead! 💐
One thing to always remind myself: don't let other people, particularly using social media, tell me what my opinion should be. Look at facts, context and circumstances, and always avoid bandwagons.
Announcing my latest MOOC: "AI for Anyone" -- and as its name suggests, it's for anybody! You don't need to be a developer, an academic, or an engineer. Check it out here, with fun examples from games to self-driving cars, medicine and beyond!

I have to share my experience as a young immigrant to the US, on an H1-B, woefully underpaid, in a crappy company.
The only way I could skill myself up and out *was* by working for *myself* on weekends. I learned the skills to make myself marketable once I got my Green Card.

Would anybody be interested in a learning dataset for object detection based on MNIST? Idea is that instead of 28x28, it could be NxN, and you predict the bounding box for the digit location.

I've been working hard at a Natural Language Processing project with to explore how ML Models could write a script. We wanted to go beyond anything that has been done before.
