I revisited PPSSPP #VR to add there in-game camera controlled by headset rotation. It uses game camera turning using d-pad. I let the headset rotation to generate a key event. By combining the headset rotation and the game rotation I can reach smooth first person view experience

This should be removed as an advertised feature of the device in my opinion, or clearly advertised that eye tracking can not be used with existing games with eye tracking support

When this UE4 Ray Tracing demo first came out, I remember being absolutely blown away with how it ran in real-time Today, I was blown away all over again seeing it run smoothly in ultra high res and in full 6DOF VR. I can only imagine being able to watch a whole movie this way.

Ace Combat 7 is an example of one of the UE games that will need a little custom modding first when Praydog's upcoming UE VR Injector Mod releases. Currently, the plane is parented to the cockpit look camera. Here's a quick test with an offset working third-person camera though

Unreal Engine’s default Stereoscopic rendering is more efficient than just rendering the scene twice but on rare games breaks when the game uses custom shaders like Tales of Arise’s Cartoon Shader. Praydog built a creative Compatibility Mode that gets around this for those games
