I talked to almost half a dozen women who ran for local, state, and federal office, and you get laundry lists of community involvement like this from both before and after their runs. http://bit.ly/2ku1xCI pic.twitter.com/2RS77nE9fd

Research shows that many men often think that running for office is them giving back to the community, while many women only run for office if other avenues of making change in their communities have completely failed.http://bit.ly/2ku1xCI
To me, Jon Ossoff is a particularly important example because he had the time—more than two years—to show a commitment to Georgia constituents (something he received blowback for in 2017). And aside from some campaigning and a few speeches...he didn't?http://bit.ly/2ku1xCI
CO-SIGN ALL OF THIS.
These men love to try and fail upward.
And they succeed at it quite a bit which is...wild.
I have zero interest in the ‘mediocre white guy’ ticket. Warren and Harris are the only candidates I follow.
I just want to point out that black men in Georgia have been grinding non stop, day in and day out.
It's great if women run but Stacey Abrams isn't. Neither is GA's own Sally Yates. Meanwhile, civil rights icon John Lewis endorses Jon Ossoff. I hope he can turn GA blue!https://www.dailykos.com/stories/2019/9/23/1887349/-John-Lewis-and-Jon-Ossoff-team-up-on-voter-registration-to-flip-Georgia-s-Senate-seats …
GA State Rep. Karen Bennett, who chairs, who chairs the state’s Legislative Black Caucus, has also endorsed Ossoff. She and John Lewis were at Ossoff’s voter registration rally yesterday at the MLK Rec Center.
