I remember first using spreadsheets (Multiplan on a Mac, specifically) a few months before that article and just being blown away. My first reaction was, “Is this even legal?” It felt like serious magic.

Oh man. I can almost imagine that. As I was coming up, connecting to the ‘net from corporate computers was still questionable in terms of rules. But being so powerful that you wonder if it’s ok? Not from reach, but sheer ability? That’s a high standard.

Heh. That green was used for more than video games :) I wanted to use the terminal green in the original Puppet branding, but it was too associated with the Matrix, so I went with Amber instead (which, it turns out, is a much better color).
