Can you guys explain the point of this to me? Essentially you’re buying a “Reuben gift card”... you pay upfront to redeem later for services. But why do I need a token? Can’t I just send Reuben money and book an appointment in a calendar? What am I missing?

I get the novelty aspect. It’s fun to say “I’m long Reuben”. But the mechanics don’t make sense to me. Anyone who can afford a CNSL token can buy one at any time, but presumably you will price people out who can’t afford it, even though they would pay a price that you’d accept.

I agree! I even think personal tokens could intrigue people outside the crypto space. I mean, who wouldn't want a "coin" with their own name on it? Your own personal currency. Pretty cool. Here's some of mine now
