    SF Department of Housing is having to make up a massive deficit from Housing Authority due to mismanagement. Meanwhile the pipeline is drying up, so inclusionary fees that we're going to Affordable Housing are down. This is very bad.

    Going on Lexapro was like someone turned off a very loud radio at the back of my brain that I'd never known was there. But the judgment from people in my life when I gained 15 pounds was heartbreaking. Thank you for writing this, .

    Yes, this is about HRC getting smeared with Bill's infidelity with Monica, & bad conduct with others. It's not the wife's fucking job to police her husband's sexual conduct. Full stop. No "Yes, but...". Just stop. It's between the two adults in the affair, not the spouse. 3/4

    Certainly don't ask her to have any sympathy for her husband's mistress! If anything, expect her to talk about the other woman in derogatory words years later, especially if it's clear that the mistress initiated the affair! Don't expect niceness, it isn't warranted here. 2/4

    When a guy has an affair, even if it's with a subordinate at the office, it is NOT his wife's fault. Bringing it up with his wife is just a dick move, reminding her of embarrassment, "cuckholding" if you prefer. Don't ask her to explain it or drag out her feelings about it. 1/4

    Philosophy Tube just did a video on transphobia where they talk about people holding on to the germ, the spore, of bigotry. "I don't mind gay people just as long as they don't shove it in my face" kind of bigotry, where someone knows bigotry is wrong but they're still holding on.

    It's always really funny to me how some skinny people will follow me so they can APPEAR to care about fat oppression. They don't engage with or learn from my research, I am a badge they were to assure their own audiences they don't hate fat people. (But they do.)
