Absolutely. The outages continue to have a huge affect on foothills counties. My brother farms in Colfax and couldn’t sell his produce because no one was buying; had no water b/c the pump runs on electricity; lost 9 Airbnb bookings in a row- which they don’t compensate for, etc.

To be fair, PGE was between a rock and a hard place. If they didn't cut the power, fires would likely have started, homes burned, maybe people killed - again. So they cut the power to minimize fire danger and left thousands in the dark. It sucked, and will continue to suck...

... for years into the future. Dry conditions and big winds will come every Fall, as will power cuts - so be prepared. Buy generators, water tanks, whatever it takes to minimize your losses and keep things going when the power disappears. PGE can't solve this alone.
