THESE SHOOTINGS have nothing to do with a community being "strong close knit". Like people saying "I never thought it would happen in my town." This is AMERICA & no gun control basically. So expect more. I feel sad 4 you folks! We're not perfect in Canada but gun control is here.
I'm saddened to hear about yet another senseless mass shooting and this one so close to home. El Paso is a strong, close knit community. They will pull together and find a way to get through this, but we need to address this epidemic of violence in the US once and for all.

The "strong close knit" community means neighbors will rally together to help the injured, families and friends. I don't see why you take issue with that statement. You are correct. We need to address the epidemic of gun violence in the US which Liz addressed.

Agree 100%.....we need universal background checks now and an assault weapons ban Also more investment in Mental Health which is in shambles right now.....just look at the number of suicides among vets
