Russia Today was created in 2005 to spread Kremlin propaganda, funded with Kremlin money. It never had any other mission. You can say what you what you want about me, but at least I never worked for Vladimir Putin.
-
And did most of America know that before my resignation and subsequent advocacy on Russian disinformation? No.

It was evident long before 2014 that RT was a propaganda network in the service of a hostile foreign actor.http://nymag.com/intelligencer/2013/09/how-the-rt-network-built-a-us-audience.html …

RT was Russian disinformation from the getgo. Saying it got worse in 2014 isn’t an explanation for working there in the first place.

This is a hilarious tweet primarily for the lack of self-awareness.

It took courage for
@lizwahl to quit on air by publicly calling out RT & she was harassed with intimidation tactics as a result. Why other Americans on RT haven’t followed her lead is the bigger issue. Both of you ladies help expose Putin’s propaganda machine in important ways. -
Thanks Alexandra, for the kind words. Indeed the intimidation I faced afterward was meant to silence me but it has clearly not worked. And always appreciate women supporting each other! It means a lot :)

“It took me 3 years to figure out I was a Klemlin agent” isn’t a really a campaign slogan but it would make a great Dr. Phil episode.
