Um Active clearances for individuals of any level after they leave govenment should be the exception not the rule. They have no need to know futher classified information.
Sure. But this individual's security clearance was taken away as a punishment for being a critic, not some logical technicality

So what?. He was not using the clearance for any purpose except allowing classified information to remain at risk. He can still voice criticism of the president. Clearances are not a right
